Costs of Installation & Ongoing Costs

After all the cheapest and most efficient and stable package amongst all available. - Specialist Practice, 29/3/99 3:01 PM
zero on all counts! - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
Nil! - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
Minimal. Mostly hardware costs for new equipment. Software free except payment for Mims database - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
Completely free as I do not require MIMS database updates - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Time involved in establishing the package

After appr 2 hours of a trial i could confidently use it. - Specialist Practice, 29/3/99 3:01 PM
Very quick to install. Non-critical improvments have been added in the last few months but the system has worked since the first installation. - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
Only a few hours - and new staff have taken to it very quickly and enthusiastically. - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
I was changing from old DOS system. It took many hours to get it going. It was easy to establisg AGP, but getting computers networked was time consuming. - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
Minimal as program is intuitive Like others I have spent hours fiddling in customization but this is purely personal and quite unnecessary - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Level of Support received from developers

24 hours 7 days technical, friendly support, including regular upgrading and limitless phone/on-line/comp.to comp. via PCAnywhere communication - Specialist Practice, 29/3/99 3:01 PM
superb - emails answered same day - program modified to fix all my problems within a day or two - lots of ongoing advice about things I couldn't work out for myself - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
Excellent - same day by phone and E-Mail. Always helpful. - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
My developer is a fellow GP who was and still is unbelievably supportive. He lives too far away to visit but that was unneccessary as we worked things out over phone/fax/PC anywhere. Geoff was never unavailable - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
Outstanding in every respect Imagine dealing with a gracious, attentive peer in a relaxed manner akin to banter over a cuppa cf dealing with computer nerds and you'll know what I mean - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Functionallity & Benefits of the Sytem

after 9 months of 'heavy duty' - no single problem. Amazing!!! - Specialist Practice, 29/3/99 3:01 PM
does everything I require of it - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
A great all-in one Appointment, Records, Script writing and Billing package. Can use any or all components. I believe the integration of these components makes it excellent for practice management. Works well over a network. It also has a facility for synchronisation between say the doctor's laptop and the clinic's desktop. - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
User friendly, (my receptionist loves it). Is being contually modified as we the users request changes. Geoff modifies my programme almost on a weeky basis. I ask for a new feature one week and I have it the next. The software is free and ongoing support is free - What a service! - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
Already covered elsewhere - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Suggestions and Improvements

An easier way to incorporate scanned documents. But Access SP still does this better than any other package I've looked at. - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
Like I say, whatever you want, Geoff gives it. However after almost a year I am running out of improvement ideas. - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
When entering patients DOB, a short date such as 12/3/01 returns an age of 100 + years. This is not necessarily true. Date field should be required to be 4 numbers - Group GP, 15/3/2001 11:10 AM
Not at all - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Other comments. To whom would you recommend the Package

For specialists, particularly for solo working or small clinic. - Specialist Practice, 29/3/99 3:01 PM
Can strongly recommend to someone in my situation - solo parttime psychiatric practice. Geoff Stokeld is a true enthusiast who develops the program because he loves doing it. I've really enjoyed working with him to get it all going in my little practice - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
Highly recommended. No crashes or lost data in over 8 months of full-time use. Solo or group practice specialists (Access SP) or GPs (AccessGP). - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
This programme is a Microsoft Access database and it is best suited to those with some computer experience. I am no computer guru but I love to tinker - I like to lift the bonnet and see how things work so to speak. this means I can change the colour of my screens each month. When you get AGP you get the whole programme so you can start changing it yourself. If Geoff(developer) decides to quit, it should be very easy to get a professional software programmmer to take over as developer.Microsoft/Bill Gates is here to stay, he certainly wont go bust overnight. I feel very secure with AGP. AGP is designed by a practising GP who knows what we need.It covers everything in one package. It costs nothing for the software and a yearly fee to mims, can't remember ?$140.00 per year. I have been using it since 1/7/99 and just love it. I am on a learning curve, I used it initially for just billin, then started to write scripts, then download to medclaims, starting to add in past histories, etc. Whatever you want, it's all there on the one programme.I believe with more marketing this programme would be a big seller but most GPs havn't heard of it and prefer to stay with the well known name brand - their loss. - Solo GP, 3/4/00 7:33 PM
LogiPro systems are the Solution Provider in South Aust/NT for Rx Healthcare products, We would like to draw your attention to the new RxSQL version and the fact that the programme has links not only to Medical Director, but to its own Rx Clinical. Also links to MYOB, Quickbooks and Sybiz. For further information you can call LogiPro Systems (for SA/NT) on 08 8387 5988 or email enquiries@logipro.com.au - visit logipro.com.au and rx.com.au for more information Regards L. Clarke LogiPro Systems - Group GP, 29/1/2001 1:59 PM
GRS is a genius ! Everyone should have a look at this beatiful program Why pay an annual cost for practice mgt software if you do not need updates I agree with other users - marketing is all that separates Geoff from the big boys and it's tough to cover the cost of this if you're giving your program away !! - Specialist Practice, 19/4/2001 12:36 PM

Software used in conjuction with this package

<
Optus Messenger (Medclaims) - Specialist Practice, 21/12/99 11:44 PM
I have been able to copy the database onto a handheld - Win CE machine. Very handy if you take calls out of the office. - Specialist Practice, 5/3/00 3:50 PM
