Other Functions

Statistical analyses, interfacing with the MS product suite. - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Costs of Installation & Ongoing Costs

Novell network, supporting 486, 386 and 286 NEC machines. Faultless performance. Two maintenacne calls per year to close databases. $1500pa ongoing costs Occasionally requires printer maintenance - NEC P5 requires a power supply every six years costing $300. An amazingly cheap system that has paid for itself over and over again. - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Time involved in establishing the package

Installed 1986 over one weekend. Database took two weeks to create. - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Level of Support received from developers

The support was at times patchy, and really requires at least one computer nerd on-site in the early years. They have always tried to accomodate our requirements. They are still in business - a source of great comfort. - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Functionallity & Benefits of the Sytem

Provides extremely rapid billing and account enquiry. Prints monthly statements in three hours. Recalls, labels, encounter documents add functiolality without bloatware. - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Suggestions and Improvements

The latest version of this software's GUI will never match the functionality of hotkeys. But that's progress! - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM

Other comments. To whom would you recommend the Package

The latest version of software with three fully configured machines will cost $24,000 for a group practice. I think that is expensive, but then, I said that in 1986....but I was certainly wrong in retrospect. If you have the money, then it is hard to beat this product from a company who has been in the business for over ten years (an eon in computing terms). - Group GP, 24/2/99 1:22 PM
