has greatly enhanced my medical practice and made life %1000 easier esp with referral letters - Solo GP, 08/12 20:43
Mpak-reliable but extraction of data types is not easy.Once learned it is quick and accurate and stable Genie- very easy to use ,but updates can be messy for the inexperienced.Genie is much more reliable than MD,which in my experience in other places is very unstable and counter productive. - Solo GP, 08/12 23:04
Time saved by reception with path. filing. Efficiency of records. Efficiency of drug prescribing. Patient acceptance good; only one cried upon seeing a computer on the desk!! Confidentiality of records. - Solo GP, 09/12 8:16

Suggestions and Improvements

We are looking forward to the accounting/billing modul, currently in Beta - Group GP
Medipak- introduce more facility for data analysis, and upgrade the display from the DOS screen style. Genie- make the upgrades more automated and add interactivity between the drug database and the gestation calaulator,i.e. if there is an LNMP entered in the gest calc then automatically bring up pregnancy relevant drug info when prescribing - Solo GP, 08/12 23:04
Awaiting final improvements to billing component. - Solo GP, 09/12 8:16
Genie, no Mediflex, yes. Resist Windows, but not commercially possible to do so. - Group GP, 09/12 19:43
It's getting harder to find ways to improve it. - Group GP, 9/2/99 1:38 AM
The addition of medclaims (on the cards) - Solo GP, 9/2/99 5:00 AM
Medclaims (? in 2000) - Group GP, 28/9/99 9:41 PM
We would like the abilit to create a separate fee structure for worker's compensation claims. - Solo GP, 1/12/99 10:31 PM
Anumber of small things.I tell Paul my ideas & if he thinks they are good ones he puts them in the next update. - Solo GP, 27/2/00 12:55 AM

Other comments. To whom would you recommend the Package

I am very happy with the system. My partners, computer novices, have found it relatively easy to use. - Group GP
any colleague with a Mac - Solo GP, 08/12 20:43
Recommending Mac programs and sysems is like talking to deaf people. My experience with MD and Genie makes me wonder why anyone bothers with Windows based programs. However I keep trying! Scores below are for Genie - Solo GP, 08/12 23:04

Recommend it to everyone - Solo GP, 27/2/00 12:55 AM
I would recommend it to anyone who wasn't already heavily time and hardware committed to another system. I like no advertising. It is much better than Medical director which is basically a scrip writer with add-ons,and is better than other programs for speed and function. - Group GP, 2/3/00 10:57 PM
all doctors - Solo GP, 7/3/00 6:39 PM
To those who don't feel the need to be part of the thundering herd or be surrounded by bleating noises this is THE gun package. - Group GP, 25/11/2000 10:41 PM
