hi. Im only going to be 21 this friday the 7th. my derm says i have rosacea, she put me on metrocream. Ive been red in the face, sometimes even the shoulders, chest and neck, for over a year now. used the wrrong treatments and maybe this is right, but I have NO PIMPLES with it.. so is metrocream the best treatment for my red face that you know of??? sulfur? metronidazole orally or tetracycline? thanks soo much, bye

Have been diagnosed with rosacea-the tetracycline, the metrocream, no real improvement evident. don't drink alcohol and even wait for my coffee to cool down prior to drinking. am taking coenzyme Q10 for a year-no effect on the rosacea, but my dentist is now happy with my teeth and gums. Any suggestions?

I had a cortisone injection in late December which caused a skin atrophy. The atrophy is gone but the redness is still here and looks worse some days then others. Can this be rosacea?

I have noticed areas of pinky red patches only on my cheek area. Small broken capillaries have appeared on my high cheek area, however the other areas of pink seem to puzzle me. My make-up doesn't sit well or stay on during the day and I only break-out once per month. My skin is changeable and can be flaky quite often and uneven. Could my symptoms be a sign of rosacea? If not, could you please tell me a little about rosacea and what it looks like? I am 22 years of age and have kept out of the sun. Thankyou.

I have had Rosacea for about 5 years. Sometimes it appears to have disappeared entirely and some times my nose is red and has a bump or two. I have heard that Rosacea is caused by problems in your liver. Is this so? And if so, would a liver cleanse be a good idea? It seems all the drugs the M.D.s prescibe are damaging to other organs your body. Any ideas?

Started with sub-dermititas on nose and slightly on the cheeks...was prescribed a steroid'novisone' by a g.p, now I find out it should not have been perscribed...After applying sub-derm went away but small red veins and redness appeared and got worse over about 4 months. Looked like rosacea,,,,Tried a new treatment called 'photorejuvination' to stop flushing and get rid of the redness....But unfortunately made the degree of redness worse and spread over my cheeks and on my chin. Also a discolouration, a red-brown pigmentation. My face seems much more oily..maybe to much collagin,,dont know..please assist with some good advise becaude everything I do to help myself I seem to make it all worse..
