STANDARDS: * All trained registered nurses working in ICU/CCU should be accredited to ECP (protocol) each year. * Goals of protocol are standardisation of actions and may be found in printed ECP (protocol). * Assessment for accreditation can be attained by contacting assessors in ICU. These are currently S Payne, G Gover and M McLennan. OUTCOMES: * Standardisation of responses and action in life threatening health situations can be attained by adherence to the emergency care protocol by all registered nurses of Richmond Health Service. Registered nurse will demonstrate to assessor awareness of the protocol. EQUIPMENT: Cardiac assimilator will be utilised to identify rhythms. ECP PROCEDURE: * Assessors will conduct formal assessment of the registered nurses knowledge and awareness of ECP each calendar year. * Assessors will conduct formal assessment of the registered nurses knowledge and awareness of ECP each calendar year.
